January 2007 — George Witte's poem "At Dusk, the Catbird," published in Vocabula originally, was chosen by Heather McHugh for the Best American Poetry 2007 anthology, to be published by Scribner in the fall of 2007.
February 2007 — EBSCO now includes The Vocabula Review in its Literary Reference Center database, which many thousands of libraries subscribe to.
June 2007 — Harper's Magazine and UTNE Reader are reviewing The Vocabula Review's content for possible republication in their magazines.
August 2007 — Robert Hartwell Fiske and Vocabula are mentioned in a Wall Street Journal article about "leetspeak."

November 2007 — Robert Hartwell Fiske announces that The Vocabula Review will no longer accept subscriptions from unethical companies or their domain names.
