A Poem Ray Succre
Web version

Eaves Hounder

I know where you live, Cacophony,
rouster of phonemes;
I've gone through your houses.

I striped pages in uses
because they were edible uses,
the fragile strip-to-shoes, and
I was youngly constricted in pens and
stretched around a rack of
rotten teeth.

You know,
I've married Euphony,
but she is often gone away on business.

If you enjoyed this poem,
let your friends read it, too
.
